Leica M3 Olive Bundeseigentum 古董徠卡M3橄欖色军事相机

徕卡军事相机

After reading and doing research on vintage leica camera, for me, this is the ultimate Leica M3. The Bundeseigentum cameras produced by Leica are actually some of the rarest and most sought after of all.

When the West German Army (Bundeswehr) was established after 1955, the Leica M cameras formed a large share of the photographic 35 mm cameras ordered for the troops. Rare versions are the Leica M3, M1 and later also M4 models in olive paint finish. Of the Leica M3, less than 300 units were prepared in this finish in total. They were made during the period from 1957 through to 1968 and only made in very small batches for the military.

According to records there were around 214 pieces made, although that is only the shipping record and it is inaccurate as there may have been a couple more that were not put on file. According to the current Leica list there are only 144 of these cameras left now. The M1 Olive has no rangefinder.
